Well, it’s the end of yet another weekend. I’m not really sure I’m ready to go back to work, especially as one of the things I’ll be going back to is a server that’s refusing to work properly. Still, though, it’s been a rather relaxing weekend. I already covered most of what I did yesterday in last night’s post, other than the fact that when we got back from Baker St. Pub & Grill, Dave and I ended up watching The Spy Who Loved Me, which is a Bond movie I had never seen before. Roger Moore still isn’t one of my favorite Bonds, but I rather enjoyed the movie. As for today, I’ve done a whole lot of nothing. I might watch one of my DVDs later on tonight, but for now I’m just relaxing after dinner.
Speaking of DVDs, I FINALLY got to sit down and watch Superman Returns on Thursday night. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the movie, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t a pretty good film. Brandon Routh was far better as Clark Kent/Superman than I had expected, and Kevin Spacey was PERFECT as Lex Luthor. This will definitely be a film that I will get on DVD at some point, along with Superman and Superman II. Now if they would just make a World’s Finest movie with Brandon Routh and Christian Bale, I would be happy. :-)
Ah, well. Otherwise, there’s not much new to report on this end. I’m just relaxing at home, listening to music from the iPod (which is connected to the home theater), and pondering getting a drink. As for what to do tonight, well… I’ll probably end up playing some more Gears of War. Fun fun…
I’m in Houston for two weeks–taking care of my mother after surgery–so we ought to meet. Cell *censored*
Sounds good to me. I’ll prolly give you a call tomorrow sometime after work. :-)
